Chinese Urn

The family myth surrounding this urn is that it was a gift to my father from Chiang Kai-shek in thanks for the service he rendered as Dutch Ambassador during the revolutionary wars in China.

I have chosen it as the symbol for bearing my ashes, as all my life I have been proud of my father and his accomplishments. He had an enormous impact on my life.

Full Life

This statue represents for me my life journey since my baptism in Bawku, Ghana and how it was enabled by the power of the Divine.

It represents the joy of all humanity surrounded by the Divine.

The Divine, for me, is defined as the (topsy-turvy) loop of reciprocal relations between all of creation - human, animal, all of Nature.
